Synopsis

A NEW DAWN PART 2 As the sun sets in Gotham City, two policemen keep vigil for a suspected Riddler attack as King Tut. After waiting until night, there is no sign of any disturbance, until an alarm goes off at a dry cleaner. Batman checks it out, but realizes it was a distraction, allowing the policemen to be knocked out. Inside the next victim's house, King Tut attempts to kidnap Leigh Carson, but is thwarted by the Riddler. However, Batman comes crashing in on top of the Riddler, allowing King Tut to escape. Riddler explains the latest riddle, about the womb, meaning King Tut was trying to bury Carson alive. She is taken to a safehouse, while the Riddler offers his services to Batman once again, who accepts. Together, they discover the killer's past and next move.  At the safehouse, Carson explains how Dr. Victor Goodman, an Egyptologist who was fired from the Gotham Museum of Antiquities for making threats, was obsessed with a radical theory about King Tut. As Batman and Riddler leave to find Goodman, Carson calls Victor. They enter an Egyptian-themed house, but Riddler steps on a booby trap, triggering flames to shoot out of the walls. A computer screen turns on, with King Tut taking off his mask, explaining he that needed to eliminate the Riddler so that the museum would be safe from robbery. As Batman and Riddler crouch on the floor, the house explodes.
